Privacy policy
[Company] is the controller of your account data. We only collect what the service needs, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
Data processed
- Account: your email address, your password (stored as a hash, never readable) and the date you accepted the terms of use.
- Bundles, redaction, questions: your documents are processed in memory while the result is produced, then erased. They are never written to disk or kept.
- Secure transfers: files are encrypted in your browser and stored encrypted until they expire (1 to 30 days) or you withdraw them. We keep the recipients’ addresses, the file sizes and the history of opens and downloads, never the file names or contents.
- Replacements: the posts and messages you publish, visible to registered colleagues.
- Subscription: payment is handled by Stripe. We neither see nor store your card details.
- Time saved: to estimate how much time Advocado saves you, we record the tool used, the date and the number of documents processed, never their names or contents.
- Contact form: your name, email address, firm and message, used only to reply to you.
Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to provide the service and manage your subscription (performance of the contract), to secure the platform, estimate the time saved and answer your messages (legitimate interest), and to meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
Retention
Your account data is kept while the account is active and deleted within 30 days of your request, except invoices and accounting records, which are kept for as long as the law requires. Contact messages are kept for at most [12 months].
Processors
- Scaleway SAS (Paris) application hosting, encrypted database, encrypted storage of transfers, sending email.
- Mistral AI (Paris) answers from the AI assistant. The text of the uploaded documents and the question asked are sent, never used for training.
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Dublin) subscription payments. Receives no documents.
- OpenStreetMap Foundation locating the places typed into replacement posts (city or court name only).
Stripe may process some payment data outside the European Union, under the safeguards the GDPR provides (standard contractual clauses). The OpenStreetMap Foundation is based in the United Kingdom, which benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction, erasure or portability of your data, or restriction of its processing, and object to certain processing, by writing to [contact email address]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no scripts. The app only stores in your browser what it needs to work: your session and your language.
